The Cadence Blanket
The Cadence Blanket is the perfect cozy crochet project to work on in the cold of winter. The great thing about making blankets is once they are long enough, they can be used as a blanket to keep you warm while you work on them! The Cadence Blanket Pattern is made with a repeat that is like crocheting your own harmonic wave. Once you get the repeat down, the blanket will work up extremely fast!
I am very excited that this blanket is my very first kit with Lion Brand! You can find the kit here.
You can find the PDF pattern on Etsy, Ravelry Lovecrafts, and here on the website.

Yarn
For this blanket design I used Lion Brand Hometown Yarn. This was my first time working with Hometown yarn and I loved how soft it is. This yarn is extremely soft, making it the perfect yarn for a blanket! Hometown is a bulky weight yarn, so it is perfect for a blanket project, because it works up so quickly.
For this project I used the colours Portland Wine and Springfield Silver. Hometown comes in a great selection of colours, and I can’t wait to see what colour combinations you pick!
Skills
This is an advanced beginner/intermediate crochet pattern, you will need to know the following stitches: chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet and triple crochet.
