Striped Belle Sleeve Sweater
The Striped Belle Sleeve Sweater was designed to include colour work that is interesting but yet easy enough for a beginner crocheter to try. I also designed it to have the least amount of seaming as possible. Besides tying in ends, seaming is one of my least favourite parts of the crochet process.

Yarn
This was my first time using Lion Brand Yarn Touch of Cashmere as it is not available at my local Michaels store. I was very impressed with how soft this yarn was, it does feel like you are wearing a Cashmere sweater! I choose the colours Port, Iron and Gull Grey to work with. Although there are many beautiful colours available on the Lion Brand Website.
The sleeves were designed with belled ends, hence the name, Striped Belle Sleeve sweater!
Skills
You will need to know the following techniques: single crochet, double crochet, slip stitch, working flat in back and forth rows. The pattern is designed to reduce the amount of seaming necessary.
