Oakmont Scarf

One of the reasons I started knitting again, after focusing on mainly crochet for a few years was to learn how to fair isle knit. I love the look of knitted colour work. The Oakmont Scarf is a super chunky scarf, perfect for the dead of winter.

You can find the PDF pattern on EtsyRavelry Lovecrafts, and here on the website.

Yarn

The Oakmont Scarf was designed with Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick yarn. Thick and Quick is a great budget friendly bulky yarn. It is a 20% wool and 80% acrylic blend, giving it the warmth of wool, while making it less scratchy. I love a good wool acrylic blend and Thick and Quick is my favorite to work with.

For this project I used the colours Slate and Fishermann. Thick and Quick comes in a great selection of colours, and I can’t wait to see what colour combinations you pick!
